Cooking Instructions

Thaw in the refrigerator and keep cold until serving. Raw: Sashimi grade, so it may be served raw. Slice thin against the grain with a very sharp knife and serve immediately. Searing: For tataki, sear 30 to 45 seconds per side in a very hot oiled pan, leaving the center raw, then slice. If you prefer fish fully cooked, sear 2 to 3 min per side until opaque throughout.

Serving Suggestion

Sashimi-grade: slice thin and serve with soy, yuzu or lemon, and a whisper of jalapeno. For a warm option, sear 30 seconds per side and slice.
