Personal Gourmet began in 2001 with a simple observation: the “fresh” food most families were buying wasn’t fresh at all — and the truly fresh food was going to restaurants, not homes. So we set out to change that, sourcing the same restaurant-quality meats and seafood that five-star kitchens use and delivering them directly to Southern California families.
Our method hasn’t changed in 25 years, because it works. Every cut is trimmed, portioned and flash-frozen once — with a USDA inspector present — then sealed so that nobody touches your food again until you open it in your own kitchen. Nutrients stay locked in. Flavor stays locked in. And because everything is individually packaged, a family of four can enjoy four different dinners from the same oven on the same night.
We’ve never advertised on TV or radio, never opened a retail store, and never published a coupon.
